I had been studying Italian on my own for over three years before I began working with Lorella via Skype. I had not had the opportunity to use in conversation the things I had learned...much less expand on them. Lorella has been so patient with me...even when my Italian brain "non funziona" (does not work). Over the past months I can see that I have made a lot of progress understanding what is being said to me and being able to express myself. I have lost the nervousness I used to have at the very thought of trying to speak in Italian. Very soon I will get to meet Lorella in person on my first trip to Italy and ....non vedo l'ora!!

Lessons with Lorella in Panzano are more than anything you can learn in a video, on a DVD or in a book. It's an experience and a memorable part of any vacation to the Chianti region. Her style is relaxed and non judgmental. She is welcoming and fun. We laughed a lot...and not just at my poor Italian! I will be continuing with her on Skype now that we are back in the states. My goal is fluency and I know Lorella will get me there.

We booked a villa for two weeks near Greve in Chianti. I found Lorella's website and spoke to her about a short course for our extended family in Italian while we were on our vacation. Lorella and her assistant came to our villa and put on a series of interactive group sessions in the living room which were great fun for the whole family, everyone from from the grandparents to our children had great fun learning and laughing together. It was great family time and we really learned far more than we expected in just 2 weeks. It added a unique dimension to our trip.

Thank´s to Lorella, I have learnt much more italian understanding and producing the language than before in different classes. She understood immediately how I learn and what I am interested in. I miss all the conversations about philofophy, religions, human beeing, cooking, nature, birds.

Best result is, when people here in Panzano and Greve say, that you understand 90% (polite friends) and speak italian much more than earlier.
