Villa Bordoni is located in the cool hills above Greve in Chianti, 45 minutes drive south of Florence. The Villa and its outbuildings have been converted into a luxury boutique hotel consisting of just eight rooms and suites. In addition, there are lounges, a verandah, formal garden and extensive grounds with a swimming pool, plus a gourmet dining room.
The Villa Castagnoli and its Il Molino di Grace vineyard are located at Volano near Panzano in Chianti. They were purchased by Frank Grace in 1996 and the winery was managed by Gerhard Hirmer. In just a few years, the Molino di Grace Chianti Classico, the IGT Toscana Il Margone, a sangiovese-cabernet sauvignon “super Tuscan” blend, and the IGT Toscana Gratius, a 100% sangiovese wine made from the oldest vines on the estate.
Dario Cecchini descends from a long line of butchers and has recreated an antique-style macelleria on the site of the family shop which was destroyed during the war. As well as being an extremely creative butcher and an excellent cook.
